Body/mind therapy is collaboration between client and practitioner using the mind-body relationship to facilitate healing and well-being. Body/mind therapy sees physical awareness as a key component in emotional healing.
Each 90 minute session utilizes some of the following tools: Hellerwork (hands-on bodywork), a Depth Psychology perspective, dialogue, energetic healing (chakra balancing, Cranial Sacral Therapy), breathing, meditation practices, and movement explorations (yoga, dance, toning). The number of sessions varies based on need. This therapy is effective in teaching people how to use their intuition, their body awareness and their right brain to approach their lives. In our increasingly linear, logical, and fact based world we often lose contact with our inner resources and deeper sense of ‘knowing’. Many of us live at a fast pace under the demands of a harsh inner critic. Learn to slow down, practice non-judgment, and listen deeply to your self.
